Along with the racing off the circuit, another frequently ignored rule is no-contact. The two often go together.
The Motors TV showing of the TKM festival showed one driver shovelling off competitors every time he got to the video'ed corner. Each time the driver was also off the circuit, using the kerb to get onto the shovelling line. Even the commentator said that he ought to be disqualified, but no official noted the problem.
There was a good example of racing at the last Clay clubby, when the lead driver was driving defensively and all six drivers finished within 1.3 seconds and no-one got pushed off. People braked rather than run into the kart ahead.
