what is a racing line?
who decides what is the quickest way around a corner?
and how can that be defined on a wet or damp track when many different "racing lines" are used, all with varying entrance, apex and exit speeds.
the rule seems farly unenforcable to me.i agree though that if you want to stop people cutting or riding kerbs then you need to make the actual act of doing so slower in terms of lap times.as it stands, cutting kerbs is the norm and whilst you can get away with it and be quicker it will not stop.making the act of riding a particular kerb slower in terms of lap time though will stop the act instantly and there will be no need to enforce the rule as no one will want to do it
