Read the instructions with your neck brace!

It will probably tell you that it will NOT save lives.... or at worst, it will not CLAIM to save lives!

It's 'common knowledge' (i.e., none of us has seen EVIDENCE) that neck braces just make it easier to carry the WEIGHT of the helmet through corners, we all 'know' they are NOT a safety device.

Use Google; all you'll see is ADVERTS for them from people trying to SELL them to you.

If they WERE a great safety boon, I suspect the MSA would have made them compulsory.... they haven't as yet!

Wear them if you like them but don't think of them as some sort of injury protection device here is proper PROOF (errr.... real evidence!) that they work as part of a safety system.
