I bought an onboard camera from 4Kam - videos at www.youtube.com/DTECKarting (The 3S Lap is probably the best example of the quality - though it loses a little having been uploaded to youtube)

As far as I know, if you mount your system within the confines of the kart you should be fine (i.e. I mount mine down on the front bumpers sometimes)

If you want to run it outsiode the confines of the kart (e.g. on top of the nasseu), then you just need to run it by the Clerk and a scruitineer

So long as its securely mounted and doesn't pose a hazard to others (sharp edges on mounts etc.) then you should be fine

A few of the videos I've uploaded are on S1 test days, where the kart has passed safety scruitineering anyway
