the only coloured visors (apart from black, yellow and light smoke) that don't have the coating come off are the llc ones. caracoat and other iridium ones are crap and the coating comes off with the slightest drop of rain. problem is llc don't make visors for bell helmet :(

bell do do a "pure" red visor but only for the rs3. you can get it from demon tweeks and its the multilayer red one but i was told by the demon tweeks guy that the coating will come off it like the others.

under the iridium you should have just a normal tinted visor and you shouldn't notice any difference.

best thing to do is what i did. through away the iridium visor and buy a nice black visor :)
