Sorry - posted my earlier reply without looking to see who the original post was from. From your other posts I would definitely not worry about chassis performance just now. You would gain far more from entering races at Shenington and Whilton to give your lad experience against a wide range of driver ability. Last weekend we had 47 comers cadets, 4 WTPs and 1 Honda - made for a very full B final! The word on the Intrepid was that it had too much grip in the hot weather but does you son run now with no grip? If you still put some grip on in the dry then the Intrepid should still work for you. Only change chassis when he has got everything else right - or if he breaks it!
