Seems about right. But driving in premium racing classes apart, what's out there in career terms later on for kids who can not only drive well, but also know about vehicle engineering, chassis set-up etc. etc. For every race driver, there must be hundreds of mechanics, team managers, engine builders, test drivers etc. All that money that rich drivers are paying is being spent somewhere isn't it.
It seems to me we could send our kids to private schools for what the karting can cost, in terms of future prospects what's the best option? In some respects can we consider karting an investment for our kids future, one way or another?
