But the reason BT82's are going for GBP200 is supply and demand. There's a lot more of them out there than there is people to race them. The likely price of this motor will be GBP1,200. Given that there'll be a lot less of them around, it will take some time for them to drop into the affordability domain of the incumbent.
If I was going the TKM route, I'd need my head examined to shell out GBP1,200 for a motor when I could get something equally [if not more] competitive for GBP200.
... and if I wanted to go TaG and/or a class with bigger grids everywhere, then I'd go Max... which in actual fact is what I did this year.
