I strongly object to being called a Francophile, just because I happen to live in France doesn't mean I have too like the French.lol.
Strangely, here, we already have disc protectors and yet very few curbs seem to be severely jumped, despite the fact that our curbs seems to be less severe. This point was reinforced when my lad took himself out by taking too much curb for the very first time while racing for the very first time in the UK at Forest Edge.
Trying to analyse why, I think it possibly has a lot to do with track design. Is the jumping curbs problem related to tracks that are featureless? Most of our tracks are landscaped and beyond the usually narrow curb is often deep gravel.
