I’m not denying that a privateer can win, I’ve won my fair share of races but only when I run the kerbs the same as the majority. Try winning anything by not cutting parts of the track out, you will not. Some drivers will gain more of an advantage by cutting out more of the track than others, simply because they have the budget cover the additional damage and wear. Enforce the rules and everyone is equalised.
Ok please can anyone please give:
1) A legitimate positive gain to the sport from allowing repeated corner and kerb cutting (other than to reduce lap times).
2) A legitimate negative loss to the sport from banning corner and kerb cutting (other than to increase lap times).
