Hi there Ben

Rotax 177 is a good choice given your size and weight, you'll greatly enjoy it I'm sure.

It is a formula that is popular at many clubs in your general area, including the very local Forest Edge Kart Club (nr Andover). They will run a club championship for R177 as well as other local clubs. At national level there is a Super 1 championship which produces the top 15 UK seeded drivers, as well as an annual "0" Plate for R177.

In terms of chassis there are many good makes, with many people favouring the OTK family ones such as Tony Kart, Kosmic, Alonso, etc. Have a look see what your local traders support, and what is used locally.

You may well find a decent retirement sale on the marketplace of this site.
