Hi

I have read the posts with interest. I contacted Zip last week about the weight of a Zip Storm as we are looking in to the various weights of cadet karts much the same as this thread.

My Question to Zip. Could you please tell me the dry weight of a Cadet Zip Storm kart please

Zips Answer. Complete with engine, exhaust, sprocket chain, tyres and sticker kit 68kg

Rolling chassis, no tyres 38kg.

I presume that the engine quoted by Zip would be a Comer as opposed to a WTP. Have Zip typed their e-mail wrong and mean 58kg instead of 68kg?

Any further info from you guys would be appreciated.

Our current 2007 BRM chassis with a WTP engine with no fuel is 62kg.
