All you have to do, Alan, is to tell me that the lives saved by H&S do NOT outweigh the daft 'no tinsel' 'restrictions'.

Don't misunderstand this, I am NOT saying that we couldn't do BETTER with the H&S laws. It's that you lot are NOT taking the benefits of H&S into the discussion. YES! H&S DOES have a 'downside' but don't just ignore its GOOD side!

That's like saying we should ban ALL knives, including scalpels, cooking utensils, wood-planes etc., JUST because some people use knives to murder others! That is NOT a balanced view!

To keep a BALANCED view, you have to weigh BOTH the disadvantages against the advantages!!
