I guess then only thing it can be is the tins, and maybe that fingerprint stuff they put in the fuel.
The euro has changed 33% against the pound since mid 2007, and even if these bits cost as much as a fiver that would only make them up to around 8 quid. Which still means fuel is £3 a litre.
Reducing the price of Atol or finding a different supplier would be a great way to lower costs Steve!
Problem is with cost saving in karting, I guess most series etc have a vested interest in keeping the supplier profitable so they buy the contract again for how ever much money...
If the FIA recieved 10% of all money spent by the teams in F1 I'd be willing to bet they would definatly not be wanting cost savings!
