Thanks for the reply potter am aware of the problem due to the large venturi on the carb and have been gentle with the application of throttle yet as you say, soon as im out of the powerband the engine took an eternity to pick back up. by the time it dose your braking for the next corner. Was really pi##ing me off as was on the track with a senior blue and he was ripping by me all the time! Would a rebuild help the low end lag or is it a jetting problem. Have 6.5 hours on this engine but unsure of the exact as was only told that it had low hourage when bought. Yet it came from a reptuable source complete with log book.
