Don't worry too much about the expense hype portrayed here by some, Not all of what you may read is true, Rotax need not be any more expensive than most other classes. The perceeived 'must have' parts or numbers stamped on the motors can blind some into spending cash without any real advantage. There are some competitors out there running with a high degree of competetiveness that only have 1 motor and a season or two old chassis. It is however true that if you expect to run at the front in S1 in any class, not just Rotax, you will need the space for the £50 notes in your wallet that Ian (itpro) was talking about.
