My understanding is they have planning already to run the circuit for X amount of weekends a year, some of those weekends are quiet 98dB ones and the others are loud 105dB ones, surely if they hold kart meetings (assuming its going to be MSA) at the same time as car/bike meetings then they shouldn't need extra planning.

One time when i was there at a kart practice day the council showed up to do noise tests, it was a loud day but a handful of 250's fell foul of the 105dB limit much to their disgust just as a plane took off lol, environmental type bloke pointed his doofer at the sky and it only registered 74dB's
