Kelvin, Roadrats suggestion of rather than first come first serve, a ballot be held for an engine buyer is an excellent solution to the problem that I pointed out in my earlier post.
What happened over here at my club was that everyone was using clubman engines for the championship, then at the GP plate meeting two drivers got together and decided you buy mine and i'll buy yours. Then they could use their SP eng.
Another driver decides, right I'll buy said drivers SP motor only to be told said drivers mate has already put their name down, first come first serve!
So the rules at the moment can be bent! Why not make it a rule that if two or more drivers want the same motor, a ballot takes place.
