I don't think its as simple as air temperature, you must also consider the track, how rubbered in it is. Axle stiffness controls the rate of lift- if its hot and the kart is understeering on turn in it is because the rear has not lifted, a harder axle will stiffen the rear allowing a quicker lift and give a more responsive turn in- this is assuming that the front end is correct- don't think we have used the H axle since July 2011
