Oooo yes.....
Don't be concerned that your RIGHT track rod is shorter than the LEFT. It's designed that way!
It's not unusual for the lower mount of the steering column to be off-set to the left. If not, the steering column certainly will be as we sit BESIDE our motors which places us off-centre in the seat. This means the steering wheel has to be off-set to be comfortably I nfront of the driver..... which means the steering column will be off-set..... which means the drop link will be offset...... which means that the track rods HAVE to be of different lengths!
Some times the rod itself WILL be the same left and right but the amount of the exposed thread of the 'ball joints' will be set to make the difference.
