Would be great to get another X30 on the grid of the oekc.

We have done circa 16-17 hours now.....we'll be testing at Lydd on 19th June prior to the race on 22nd June.

Engine will be sent off for a top end rebuild any day now and have been quoted circa Ł170 plus vat. I would do the work myself, but I'll get it honed and run in on a dyno prior to getting the ole girl back.

I'll be going for a top & bottom rebuild when I've put another 15-18 hours on the motor.

We run 250ml oil to 5 litres reg unleaded......nothing wrong with a little extra lube due to 4 1/2 race and 1 hour practice prior to the race.

Carb is great......and I'll be 100% honest! We have never touched the standard carb setting. Some will ask why not! We want to run for 270 minutes.......not 10 mins plus 1 lap.

I was getting really fed up racing a max after 10 years of endurance (not quick enuff for sprinting).....I never even tried the X30!

Done some research and went for it.
