Lost 2 good friends at the TT a couple of years ago in a sidecar race. These guys loved it year after year,sadly it was not their driving or any one elses,it was a mechanical defect with an outfit running ahead of them that caused them to crash,and they were not youngsters either..
Ian are you suggesting we should ban driving in the UK,for the size of our country we have one of the highest death rates pro rata to population,in the world. We have more than 2 deaths A DAY on our roads and countless seriously injured that sadly pass away as well.
As with everything in life its a personal choice.
Pilots get killed every year at air shows,shall we ban them as well,mountaineers,building site workers,amateur scuba divers,yachtsmen ...........all pursuing THEIR life choices.
