The main issue was that it was brought up at drivers briefing that given the wind and sun and karts on the track, the first heat would be at a major disadvantage - we were all told there was a mechanism to deal with it - but then after it showed that the track was nearly 3 seconds quicker after the first qualifying heat, it transpired that there was no mechanism.
If we'd been told that at driver's briefing, we might have asked them to put another class out for their first heat so that the first and second qualifying sessions for Honda were fairer.
Personally we thoroughly enjoyed the day, even though we were in qualifying heat 1, but there were a lot of people with bad tastes in their mouth.
