All ?karts with the exception of twin engined prokarts have the seat offset to allow space for the engine and to balance out the weight on the 2 rear wheels. A normal Honda cadet has its engine on the left side with the seat offset to the right. 2stroke cadets and the odd Honda, use a different chassis with engine on right. (seat o.s. to left). It will be fine to repair a fibreglass seat with fg. mat. Clean and abrade thoroughly and allow plenty of overlap. If you are going MSA racing ,ensure that sidepods and mounting tubes comply with current regs. Download from msauk site Blue book section U and Gold book. Requirements for IKR and practice less stringent.
