lets not confuse aerodynamics with downforce....the kids helmet could be lifting for 2 reasons, 1 its not tight enough and doesn't fit properly, or the strap isn't tight enough and 2 helmets aren't the most aerodynamic things in the world....just because you add a spoiler to the back doesn't mean it wont stop lifting....the force of the air pushing back on the helmet wont reduce...

...if I remember correctly Gary Anderson did a piece about aerodynamics in a magazine a while back, downforce doesn't really have much effect until you are going over 90mph...yes it will have some before that point but whether it has enough to stop a kids helmet from lifting who knows!
