so you arent interested in finding the best driver then?
a proving ground for driverless cars would be extremely relevant today. A to B in the shortest and most economic time. I doubt it would be interesting to watch tho. But then most of F1 is run well within the capabilities of the cars and drivers these days.

i think you need to talk to the engineers about that one. we do like our work to be appreciated even though we realise, in the main, its taken for granted.
i do appreciate good over taking but there is less and less real race craft seen in f1 nowadays.
