By comparison I thought the Honda grids were quite tame and reasonably well behaved, the Iame's were far worse, multiple heavy shunts on the starts taking out 5-10 karts, then during one of the heats a bunch of karts came together and went properly airborne, I believe 1 Iame driver broke his arm, another lad was flung from his kart.
Top job to the MSA for laying the law down in the drivers briefing regarding rolling starts, as afterwards the rolling starts were the best I have seen all season, the front lads were well aware if they went too early and didnt regulate the slow pace before the acceleration line, the grid would be stopped and the naughty lads put to the back without warning......it seemed to work!
