I must admit I'm also keen to see how standing starts would work out at the tracks we race at Whilton & Rye, I think rolling starts are just a hang-over from the direct-drive days, but now everyone has a clutch I really dont see the need for it......certainly my cadet son, who only came off his novice plates in december has struggled like hell getting his rolling start technique correct, certainly not helped by the grid rushing off well before the acceleration line, yesterday were some of his best rolling starts as the front lads seemed to behave.....hopefully the Clubs will start to learn from S1.....I think its worth a try
