Talk to Ron Shone at Tabor. (01305 774074)

He maintains people's karts and takes them to the track and puts up an individual pop-up tent for each of his customers. See what he can do for you (he is also a source of second hand equipment so may be able to come up with a compromise between owning and hiring a kart)

The series are the NKRA Formula Blue Championship and his "Autumn Extravaganza" visiting a variety of clubs and tracks mostly in the Southwest. (Mansell Clay, Forest, Buckmore, llandow)

But hiring a full blooded race kart and engine isn't cheap (for obvious reasons) and travelling south may not suit you.

Club 100 is a reasonable option, and can certainly feed you back into karting.
