Well, they tried to fiddle with the X30 and were caught immediately, no seal you see.
At the LGM at kimbolton, 55 karts were within a second of each other, the rest a tad outside and near the front it was even closer.
The difference was down to chassis, setup and ability, the parity was down to engineering quality.
17 different chassis on that grid, when did that last happen in a Rotax meeting?
I'm not saying FB and its restrictors is no good but I've only ever see the engine at Clay and one at Kim.
It must not have been attractive or promoted, otherwise it SHOULD have had the roaring success that X30 has had.
I wouldn't even know where to go to get a FB engine.
