That's why I am for rigid enforcement of ALL the rules! Everyone knows where they stand, the officials can point to the rule in a book and say "I am only obeying orders...." (!).

Someone will always accuse officials of bending the rules to help X, Y, or Z.

It's always unfair and hypocritical if they require the drivers to stick by the rules and then promptly bend the rules themselves.

Enforce all the rules! Period!

Of course, if they'd sought and got agreement, from all of the grid, that would be another matter but, that's time consuming and tedious..... so..... enforce the rule!

No one will and we'll be back in this same situation next month.....
