As I said, I've got nothing against the engine or the class as a whole, I love the idea of going "back to the future". The only thing that's telling me something at the moment is that if I go to Rissington, Rowrah or 3S, I'm going to struggle to race it. That's a reasonably big spread of the country.
Personal opinion is that the Rotax is going to be around for a while yet, if only because of the large amount of people who own one and there's a huge secondhand market for those who want to get involved. X30? Who knows...
Having been in the sport for nigh on 30 years, I've seen classes a lot of classes come and go, I'll be watching with interest to see how this one ends.
