Too right Alan - just little nails Rotax seem to have kept putting in their own coffin before X30 turned up. Black rads were outlawed in MSA either last year or the year before. No reasoning behind it as they have no performance advantage - quite the reverse over the flappy rad where you get the engine up to temp quicker then regulate in the race, also for senior and Junior in very hot temps the Mk3 flappy rad has an extra core over the Mk 2 and black Mk1.
Other small Rotax nails implemented just to increase parts sales with no sense behind it, are outlawing of airbox trumpets and carb tube connector and filter mesh with Aprillia on rather than rotax markings.
