My experience with my lad, when he was in bambino, was this:
Coach mainly based on turn-in points, at tracks where they allow you on during practice, literally standing at or pointing with a stick to the turn-in. If he understands the basics of a racing line and an apex this works. Because if he turns in at the right point and makes the apex the exit looks after it's self.
Only work on one corner at a time, each lap stand there. Point, whatever until it becomes so natural he carries on when you're not there.
Now, move on to the next problem corner
As mentioned above, lines/technique for bambino, are basically all about preserving momentum.
