I had a very old Broomwade compressor that had broken piston rings but I was reluctant to put it to landfill.

I contacted Broomwade Compressors and they quoted Ł60.00 plus postage and vat for a set of three rings.

So I looked on Ebay, found a Honk Kong company that did compressor rings and measured up for a set that would possibly suit.

You can't beat a proper piston compressor as against these plastic diaphragm jobbies that leak down once they wear a bit.

They arrived within 9 days, beautifully boxed, the exact size, just need to gap them and all for Ł3.98 inc postage!!!

Can't help feeling British companies like to rip you off, bit like karting.
