I worked with an engine builder years ago, he purchased 5 new engines with which I had one my friend Brought another and the other other three were for a top super one person ( engine builders own engines). After a while he noticed my friends engine was very good and after measuring up it had very good inlets and exhaust ports. I knew what he wanted to do but he never mentioned it. About a year later I was going to buy my friends engine, when I took the head off the original engine number was scratched out and new one put on. It Does Happen!! Make sure all your equipment is marked, that is what I do and have done since this incident
