I think we're tripping over each other, I mean Super 1 as the national championship. We run on S1 Extreme which has just been given its British MSA status (given it back? Did it have it before?)
In case I didn't word it well I agree with you. An MSA British Championship carries more weight in my mind to an A&D IKR series. Nd never mind getting rid of Cheque Book racing this is the ultimate manifestation of it. No chance of a dad &lad to be clever and make a difference on a shoestring - if you don't have all the money you can't enter. Door shut.
At S1 as long as you can afford the entry fees and tyres you can cut so many corners, run out of the back of your estate car, run in a cheaper class etc.
