Hello,

Just looking for some advice. My lad is just turning 7 and i want to get him into Karting. Was looking at Bambino setups and also considering a Cadet Kart.

He has no experience apart from doing the Bambino training modules at Daytona Karting, He has ridden motorbikes for the last 3 years so has a good understanding of throttle control and stopping.

I know he needs to be 8 to race in a cadet classs, im only looking for him to practice and not compete for now just to gain experience.

What are peoples thoughts on a 7 year old in a cadet kart? He is only 127cm tall so would probably need some extensions on the pedals
