Cheers guys, not too sure about the lead jacket!.....

we have 16kg of lead on the kart to make the 138Kg total weight for Junior-Subaru, but I keep seeing karts with 4Kg infront of the tank, and its got me thinking, so I might give it a try this sunday, as my lad is very tall, but real skinny at just 41Kg, so I'm thinking weight transfer under breaking is harder to achieve with a lighter driver.......so I read somewhere.

So far I have 3kg on rear-left of the seat, 7 Kg on left of seat, 4 Kg under front lip of seat, 2 Kg on the floor tray between the seat and tank. Brim full tank, the larger tank type too.

I will check if I have a collar upper and lower, but makes sense to keep it steady.
