If I were just starting out I think I would be tempted by Mini Rok,
As the price of Honda has gone mad, you'll never be able to truly compete anyhow due to your limited budget. Don't be fooled by numbers. You will most likely only effectively be racing lower numbers towards the back of a large grid. Don't let grid numbers be the primary factor. Good racing that you can afford should be more important.
Rok appears to be a purpose built racing engine with very even performance with structured costs and not a glorified generator engine that can give an engine builder calossal returns on a Ł200 unit.
If you can afford it, fine. If not, look elsewhere.
Rok needs people like you.
